Callington, an old copper mining town, just off the Freeway, still retains
much of its old world charm.

The Old Police Station, cells and stables were designed by the Chief Colonial
Architect in 1866. Built from bluestone and sandstone it is considered to be an outstanding example of early Colonial architecture in the Georgian Style and is classified by the National Trust.

Historical talks are given to large groups and coach tours as part of the garden
